Girl's Clubs: Sheila Robinson - Coordinator

Prayer Mother Ministry/Program

International Women’s Ministries developed the Prayer Mother Program for the purpose of mentoring young women. With this ministry, a Christian woman is paired with a club member and they covenant to pray daily for each other. Through this relationship, a bond of love and trust is developed and generational barriers may be prevented. This mentoring ministry has expanded to include young boys with Christian male role models within our church.

Little Sweethearts (ages 3-5)

Preschool girls are provided exciting learning experiences through personal development and relationship skills, fellowship and recreation in a Christian atmosphere.

Bluebelles (grades 1-3)

Leaders - Brenda Goodman & Debi Stalvey

Primary girls are provided exciting learning experiences through the achievement series, Blubelles Bible Investigation, merit badge studies and group activities.

Joybelles (grades 4-6)

Leaders - Sheila Rutledge & Sheila Robinson

Junior girls are provided group activities, an exciting achievement program, Journeys with Joybelles, and merit badge studies.

Young Ladies Ministries (grades 7-12)

Leader- Wendy Eastridge

YLM is an outreach ministry to teenage girls which meets once a month. The highest aspiration is that every girl will become a Christian and then be sanctified and filled with the Holy Spirit.

The purpose is to encourage spiritual growth, personal development and leadership among women; and to contribute to the general welfare of the home, church, community and world. We are in the process of electing new officers, which will be posted afterwards.

Pioneers for Christ (PFC)

The Church of God has a responsibility to reach and keep boys for Christ. Pioneers for Christ is a tremendous opportunity for this responsibility. Our objective is to reach and keep boys involved in the local church and in the kingdom of Christ.

Nursery Ministry (ages 0-3)

We have a nursery available for children ages newborn to three years old. We do believe the nursery is a ministry not only for the children, but towards the parents as well, as they are able to enjoy the adult service.

Men/Women's Prayer Meeting

All the men in the church are invited to join the Pastor at the new church building at 5am every morning to pray. The Lord has layed this time and place on the Pastor’s heart and he will continue this as long as the Lord allows!

All the women in the church are invited to meet at the current church building at 3:30pm every Friday to intercede for the church’s needs. We pray together and then split up to anoint the church building!

Sunday School

We are very blessed here at Daystar to have some of the best Sunday School teachers around… from the children’s age all the way up to Adult class! Come see for yourself and dig into God’s word! Sunday school is every Sunday at 10am.
